My Story

The first Vagina Day happened at the Feminist Library on the 2nd June 2018 - it was a full of fun, knowledge sharing and the always-popular vulva cupcake making, alongside other workshops, talks and discussions. It also launched this new, fun(d)raising initiative to support the wonderful Feminist Library space - so that anyone and everyone can join in the fun of making vulva cupcakes, talking about vaginas, boobs, and all the bits in between, while raising money for the Library! 

I decided to get involved myself, as I'm a fundraiser at the Feminist Library, my birthday is coming up, and I just thought why not - make some fun cupcakes, which people can't help to love, bring them to my birthday party, and ask people to donate some money, and also join in the fun while their at it. I'm sure it will make for some very interesting and fun conversations at my birthday party! :)

It has never been more important than now to support the Library - it is finally moving to a new, better and bigger space, after a massive Save the Feminist Library campaign, and a few years of searching! So get on board now, fundraise for the Feminist Library and help it build its new marvellous space!
